Yes. Many tours offer upgrade options: private tents, luxury/“glamping” style, ensuite bathrooms, etc. Ask when booking.
Spring (March-May) & autumn (Sep-Nov) are ideal. Summer gets very hot; winters are cold at night especially in the desert and high passes.
Typically breakfasts & dinners are included. Lunches are often not included in many shared or budget tours (except possibly as optional add-ons or on Day 3 during return stops).
Tents (shared or private depending on package), basic but comfortable bedding, dinner under the stars, possibly drumming & entertainment, sunrise & sunset camel treks. Showers / toilets may be communal for basic camps.
Yes, but private tours are better for families. Camel rides and camp nights are fine but ensure camps with appropriate safety and comfort. Younger children may find long drives tiring.
